Frequently asked questions

Is this website live in my city?

Not yet. RoadMate is currently a demonstration. Bookings made here are simulated and no partner is sent to your location.

I am in an unsafe situation. What should I do?

Move to a safe place away from traffic, switch on your hazard lights and call 112, India's national emergency number. RoadMate is not an emergency service.

How do I pay?

In the planned service you pay after the job is complete, through a supported payment method. No payments are collected on this demonstration website.

I think I was charged the wrong amount.

Raise a pricing dispute using the support form with your booking reference. We compare the charge with the estimate you approved.

How do I check my partner application?

Use the application reference and phone number on the partner application page. New applications show "Under review" until an administrator decides.

What is RoadMate?

RoadMate is a roadside assistance marketplace for India. It connects drivers and riders who have broken down with independent mechanics, tow operators and workshops near them.

Which vehicles does RoadMate support?

Two-wheelers and cars. Some services, such as battery help for electric vehicles, may not be available for every model.

What services can I request?

Puncture repair, battery assistance, fuel assistance, minor roadside repairs, towing, and pickup and drop for scheduled servicing.

How are prices calculated?

Each service has a base charge by vehicle type. Towing adds a per-kilometre rate after the first 5 km. A dispatch fee applies to roadside bookings. Parts, fuel and tolls are extra and quoted before purchase. You see the estimate before you confirm.

Can I track my booking?

Yes. After you submit a request you get a booking reference. Use it with your phone number on the booking status page to see each stage. An arrival time is shown only when a real estimate is available.

What happens if no provider is available?

Your booking is marked "No provider available" and nothing is charged. You can try again later or contact support for other options.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, until the provider arrives. Cancelling before a provider is assigned is free. After assignment, the dispatch fee may be charged. Details are in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

How do mechanics join RoadMate?

Mechanics, tow operators and workshops apply on the partner page. Every application stays under review until our team checks the documents and approves it.

Does RoadMate own its towing vehicles?

No. RoadMate does not own workshops or tow trucks. Services are carried out by independent partners who join the platform.

Is a subscription compulsory?

No. You can book and pay per job. Monthly plans are being considered as an option and are not on sale yet.
